Goose Bohemian Porcelain Mug

This mug is made of top-quality Czeck porcelain and has the white goose with a blue polka dot bow painting. Geese can truly be called the national bird of the Czech Republic! Many legends and fairy tales are associated with geese, including the one about St. Martin, a saint that is loved and respected throughout the country. It is believed that it was the geese that accompanied the Saint everywhere, and in gratitude he took them under his protection. Selma Lagerlöf (Sweden), having written the story The Wonderful Adventures of Nils, presented the story of the boy Nils and the goose Martin.
