The egg jewelry box is a replica of the most famous egg "Lilies of the Valley" — one of the fifty-two imperial Easter eggs made by the company of Karl Faberge for the Russian imperial family. It was made in 1898 as an Easter gift to the last Russian Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, the wife of Nicholas II.
The original jewelry egg is currently on permanent display at the Faberge Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia.
