The sauna whisk (venik) is a herbal cocktail! It is a mix of different tree twigs and aromatic plants tied together and used in spa treatments. It consists of peppermint, calendula, camomile, jasmine, meadowsweet, birch, maple, linden, hazel, fern, rowan, yarrow, daisy. The whisks combine massage, aromatherapy, and skin care in one traditional experience.
Using sauna whisks during massage promotes better blood circulation, improves metabolism, cleans the skin and enriches it with health. Whisks are made of different tree species and combine different qualities - aromatic compositions and medicinal properties.
Birch twigs help ease muscle and joint tension and refresh the skin, while linden and maple provide a soft, calming massage effect.
