This handmade porcelain serving dish measures about 2.8x2.8x3.1'' (7x7x8 cm) and is adorned with vibrantly blue cobalt. The dish features a little lid, making it perfect for storing sugar, salt, honey or any other tabletop condiment. This style of design is known as "Gzhel", a century-old porcelain making tradition, where each piece is meticulously handmade by master of the craft. The porcelain is adorned with the mineral cobalt and heated u to temperatures at which the cobalt gets embedded into the porcelain, where it forever stays.
