Exclusive work by the artist Julia Osoka. To create this item, the craftsmen used the milk glazing technique (milk firing). The process involves soaking the item in milk and then firing it in temperatures of 270-350 Celsius. Milk firing makes the item water resistant and smooth to touch, gives it a brown color. The enamel paint used in this item is durable, making the drawn pattern stay intact, keep its bright colors, and not wash away with time. The paint does not contain any harmful ingredients and is completely safe to use with food.
