The barrel for pickles with water seal. This water tight barrel for storing food is ideal for pickling cucumbers, cabbage, tomatoes, lard, and for cooking corned beef.
Easy to use: The barrel is very convenient and practical in use. The ceramic product is easy to clean and is abrasion resistant. Moreover, ceramic utensils are able to store food for long periods of time, without that food going bad.
Pleasant cooking process: While pickling, add vegetables, spices, and marinade at the desired temperature. Keep the pickles inside the open barrel until the fermentation is complete. Then, pour some water into the gutter under the lid, so that the water level is below the closed lid and does not flow out of the barrel.
Add the marinade to the side to ensure that there is no air inside of the barrel and the product does not ferment. Close the lid. It will stop the air supply to the interior of the barrel. The fermentation process eliminates the air and creates an anaerobic atmosphere. The salty pickles keep their unique fresh taste for a long time!
You can add some water to the barrel’s gutter, which helps to keep the highest level of containment.
