This product was manufactured in Belarus. It was purchased for a friend who appreciates textiles. I own a terry blanket of this kind but an earlier offer 'fromrussia'. I cherish my blanket, so I wanted her to try one. She received it as intended in the time promised. When she received it she said among its uses would be to take it to the beach. Why is this a good idea? Because besides its warmth and attractiveness it is also lightweight. So I didn't find it ironic that I first discovered the source of this kind of goods at St. Petersburg Bookstore, which is on Coney Island on the avenue just behind Brighton Beach. They also sell cookware there. My next purchase will be a state-of-the-art pancake pan at a fair price that was a wonder to discover when I visited there a couple weeks ago. Besides books they also sell music, film, and instructional DVDs, some of which are accessible to English speakers.
