A dinner set, inspired by the famous "Arabesque sets" - such sets originated in the 18th century, and were meant for the formal receptions. The set is decorated with a special design consisting of garlands, ringlets, alternating with the oval shaped medallions with the images of antique profiles. Such ornament was borrowed from the frescoes discovered during the excavation in Pompeii and Herculaneum.
