Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Archangels Michael and Gabriel Orthodox Cross
On the front of the cross is the Crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ with the praying images of the Most Holy Theotokos and Saint John the Baptist. On the back is the Valaam Icon of the Mother of God, painted in 1878 by Hieromonk Alipius of the Valaam Monastery. This icon became famous for the miraculous healing of Natalia Andreeva in 1897 and has since been venerated as a healer for various ailments. Archangels Michael and Gabriel are depicted on both sides of the Mother of God, emphasizing her spiritual power and protection.
