The author of this wonderful composition is Nina Slavina, the head artist of the Russian Imperial Porcelain Factory (then, Lomonosov Porcelain Factory) between 1977 and 1985. She created some of the most shining examples of the company's products, including such vases as "White Gold," and "Decorative," such fine china sets as "Forget-Me-Nots," "Golden Autumn," and "White Night," and numerous porcelain decorative plates and sculptures. In 1970, Slavina was awarded the Repin State Prize of the RSFSR (1970).
