Easter eggs need to be prepared/decorated on Great Thursday, three days before Easter. The easiest way to accomplish this is through the use of thermal stickers. This is done by placing a hard-boiled, cooled egg inside a sticker and dipping the egg into boiling water for several seconds, using a spoon to hold the egg. Once the sticker wraps snuggly around the egg, thoroughly dry and cool it.
