Harmony and Love Ceremonial Towel Runner. The delicate white fabric is embroidered with the words "Peace & Love" in Russian in red letters. With such a towel, the hands of the newlyweds are tied. There is a belief that as many knots are imposed, so many children will be born in a family. The newlyweds stand on such a towel during the ceremony.

Around the edges of the table runner, you can find a vibrant red ornamentation design, traditionally used to ward off negative energies and keep the newlyweds from harm.
