The Lilies of the Valley Egg is a jeweled Imperial egg made in 1898 by one of the greatest goldsmiths Peter Carl Fabergé (1846–1920). Enamel and decorative stones were used to create the Egg. It is also decorated with Swarovski crystals. The Lilies of the Valley Egg is one of the fifty-two Imperial Easter eggs made for the Russian Imperial Family. It was made as an Easter gift to the last Russian Empress Alexandra Fyodorovna, the wife of Nicholas II. The egg is one of the two eggs in the Art Nouveau style. It is covered in pearls and topped with enamel on a guilloche field, and is supported by cabriolet legs of green-gold leaves with rose-cut diamond dewdrops. The gold-stemmed lilies have green enameled leaves and flowers made of gold and set with rubies, pearls, and diamonds.

  • MATERIAL: A metal alloy that is durable and environmentally friendly. The casting of the egg is carried out using the old wax method. The main background of the egg is applied and the details are decorated by hand with cold, colored enamel. The enamel retains its color and gloss for many years. The egg will remain in its original form for more than one decade. Depending on the model, an egg is manually decorated with high-quality sparkling rhinestones and pearls. Packaged in a gift box.
  • PURPOSE: The egg in the style of the famous Faberge eggs is an ideal gift for any occasion, especially for Easter, Birthday, Christmas or the birth of a child. Such a box is perfect for presenting a wedding ring. The egg is considered a symbol of fertility and therefore it will be a unique wedding gift. It is convenient to store jewelry and small memorabilia in it. For example, you can store your baby's first tooth in the small egg-box.
  • CARE: Does not require special care. It is enough to wipe with a damp soft cloth from dust. Do not wash the box in water. If the rhinestones fade over time, it is enough to wipe them with a glass cleaner.
