This egg is the copy of a famous Lilies of the Valley Egg, one of the 52 eggs made for the Russian Imperial family by one of the greatest goldsmiths Peter Carl Fabergé (1846–1920). This egg was made in 1898 and was given by Nicholas II to his wife, Alexandra Feodorovna. The Egg is known for the wonderful brass flower composition representing the lilies of the valley, masterfully accentuated with detailed, sparkling enamel designs.
