The Lilies of the Valley Egg is a jeweled Easter egg made in 1898. Enamel and decorative stones were used to create the Egg, as well as Swarovski crystals. The original is one of the fifty-two Imperial Easter eggs made for the Russian Imperial Family by one of the greatest goldsmiths, and designers in decorative arts Peter Carl Fabergé. It was made as an Easter gift to the last Russian Empress Alexandra Fyodorovna, the wife of Nicholas II. The egg is one of the two eggs in the Art Nouveau style.
It is covered in faux pearls and topped with rose pink enamel on a guilloche field, and is supported by cabriolet legs of green-gold leaves with rose-cut diamond dewdrops.
