Malvina is one of the main characters of Aleksey Nikolayevich Tolstoy's 1936 book The Golden Key, or the Adventures of Buratino, which is based on the 1883 Italian novel The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi. Buratino originated as a character in the commedia dell'arte. Malvina is a beautiful female puppet with blue hair. Artemon is Malvina's loyal poodle. Pierrot is a sad puppet and a poet who is in love with her. The doll's body is made of textile, its head and legs are made of biscuit porcelain. The face is painted with acrylic paints. Silk fabrics, velvet, lace, and silver cords are used in the manufacture of the doll.
The doll is made of high-quality porcelain. The luxurious doll costumes are crafted by Russian artists and folk craftsmen with great attention to each detail and ethnographic authenticity. The high-quality execution of the dolls meets the modern aesthetic requirements.
