First rays of the sun pass through the branches of a dense dark forest and fill it up with a golden morning glow revealing a scene of a bear family playing on the trees while being protected by their mother. Miniature version of the painting "The Morning in a Pine Forest" by famous Russian artist Ivan Shishkin (1832-1898) is hand painted on the lacquer box by masters of Fedoskino lacquer miniature school.
