I received the oak banya vat on time and delivered with no flaws or cracks to the product. The transaction was straightforward with no interruptions.
After curing the vat for 24 hours the oak wood is watertight with no leaks at all. The craftsmanship itself is worth the purchase. I have purchased a 5 gallon American oak barrel that was more that double the cost while the oak banya vat is just a little smaller in size (4 gallon) its cooperage is flawless and the look of the vat is something elegantly different and appealing to the eye as compared to the standard oak barrel.
My mother kombucha scoby will appreciate the comfort and earthly feel of this vat as soon as I introduce it into the environment. Can't wait to see how the scoby thrives as it breathes naturally through the oak wood.
