Ivette Alexander is an Armenian-American published writer of fiction & nonfiction, a musician and educator with a career spanning over 40 years in the creative and performing arts. In 1989, Ivette and her family became refugees, forced to flee Azerbaijan due to ethnic persecution of Armenians leading to the Baku Pogrom. Having then establishing a new life and career in New York. Ivette holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree and a Masters Degree in Music and Education. Ivette is currently Director of Education at a private school in New York.
