Our Lady of Kazan was a holy icon of the highest stature within the Russian Orthodox Church, representing the Virgin Mary as the protector and patroness of the city of Kazan. This iconic image was originally said to have been discovered in 1579 after a Marian apparition. Since then, copies of this Virgin Mary icon have been displayed in cathedrals all over Russian and the world.
Pendant is gold plated silver, measuring 1.2 x 0.6 '' (3 x 1.6 cm), Sanctified on the relics of St. George, the Great Martyr, this piece was made with great care and love.
All pieces were made with the blessing of Archbishop Eliferiy, of the Russian Orthodox Church.
