Little Owl is handmade and handpainted in the old Russian style of "Finift" enamel art. The art of Finift came about in Russia around the 1700's, when artisans created relgious icons in this style. After 1917, other pieces of jewelry and home decor were made.
Little Owl can be worn as a brooch, but it also has a little loop on the back to be worn as a pendant!
