Russian 9-string Gusli

Gusli is the oldest Russian multi-string plucked instrument. Its exact history is unknown. Gusli is related to the harp, caffar, lyre. Folk Gusli have from five to thirty-six gut or metal strings. There were two main forms: helmet-shaped and wing-shaped.
