Santa Claus Figurine (large)

In Eastern Europe, Santa Claus is called, Grandfather Frost. This character came from the Slavic mythology, where it personified the winter cold, but eventually his role in Christmas and New Year changed to being a kind, children-loving old man, bringing them great presents, together with his granddaughter, Snegurochka (Snow Maiden). The artists of Verbilki were able to instill all of these great qualities of Grandfather Frost into this beautiful, hand-created and decorated fine porcelain figurine.
