The basis for decorating the products of the Gothic tea service was the historical series of "Gothic" plates for dessert, made in 1831 at the Imperial Porcelain Factory in addition to the Cottage Palace's own service, as well as the "Gothic" service created at the enterprise in 1832 by order Hoffmarshal's part for the Winter Palace.
