Sower Imperial Porcelain Decorative Plate

The Imperial Porcelain Factory recognized the Theory of Suprematism early in the life of this movement, championed by Kazimir Malevich. In the early 20th century, the factory released a series of tableware and art works, designed by Malevich and his followers. All of those items quickly became very sought-after collectibles and objects of pride for even the biggest museums of the world. The original of this plate was designed by V. Belkin in 1919 and is now owned by the British Museum in London.
