Cottage cheese and sour cream are a big part of a traditional Slavic cuisine. The most delicious Slavic soups like borsch, rassolnik, okroshka and schi (special cabbage soup) are garnished with dill and a dollop of sour cream! You can use sour cream in all kinds of cooking – first, second courses, deserts, and snacks. No wonder, we often find carps, grouse and other delicacies, served with sour cream so many Russian classical writings… With a little imagination you can turn sour cream into a fantastic sauce! Add horseradish – and there is a sauce for your fish, add mustard and your meat will be irresistible! Finely chopped pickle in sour cream will be a fine addition to your shrimp meal. That is why there is no such thing as too much sour cream! It does, however, have to be stored properly. Ceramic containers that are made of ecologically clean natural clay and have a matching lid, made of the same material, will do a fantastic job!
