The Dancer Decorative Plate
Decorative porcelain plate, finished in the "popular print" style - a folk art style, characteristic of image depth and ease of understanding.A cheerful Russian dancer will liven up the interior of any home with the bright and bold color scheme of this beautiful plate. The plate is made by the Verbilki factory, one of the largest centers of porcelain production in Russia. It was founded in the mid 18th century by Francis Gardner, a merchant from England. The Verbilki factory survives to this day, from generation to generation being true to its fine traditions of putting great care and love into every piece of porcelain made, as well as always caring for the environment. This philosophy has allowed the factory to keep going strong after its two-and-a-half centuries of existence.
