The three Bogatyrs is the collective name of the main characters of Russian epics, - Ilya Muromets, Dobrinya Nikitich, and Alyosha Popovich. The lacquer Miniature on the address book is a copy of the famous painting, called The Bogatyrs, by Viktor Vasnetsov. Vasnetsov worked on the painting for almost twenty years. It was finished on April 23, 1898 and soon Pavel Tretyakov bought it for his gallery.
