The history of the creation of the thin-walled porcelain cup "Vasilisa" is special! Rene Bilibina a French woman who moved to Russia in 1910 came up with an aristocratic form in the 20s. She was a student and wife of the artist Ivan Bilibin, a talented porcelain, and graphic artist. This very form was chosen by the modern author Nina Troitskaya for the stylish and original painting "Vasilisa" with the use of ancient Russian ornaments and subjects. The works of Nina Troitskaya are presented in the collections of the Hermitage and the Russian Museum.
