Sunflowers is the title of two series of still. The first series, executed in Paris in 1887, depicts the flowers lying on the ground, while the second set, made a year later in Arles, shows a bouquet of sunflowers in a vase. Displayed at the National Gallery, London.
The Fan is made of a dense fabric and decorated with a painting by Vincent van Gogh.
Since ancient times, the fan has been a beautiful decorating ornament and the salvation from the hot summer weather. In Feng Shui, the fan is a talisman for neutralizing negative energies, for protection from evil people, and, in addition, it is a symbol of long life and health.
