Vladimir Mother of God Set For Bead Embroidery (large)

One of the most beloved and revered icons in Russia is the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God. It was painted by Luke the Evangelist on a desk of the table at which the Savior, the Theotokos and Joseph used to eat. The celebration of the Vladimir Icon happens three times a year (May 21, June 23, August 26). The icon is considered miraculous. Vladimir Mother of God Icon is used for the oath of allegiance to the Motherland, prayers before military campaigns, the election of All-Russian Patriarchs.
