York Paint-by-Number Kit

This paint-by-number kit is perfect for a young or beginner artist who would enjoy creating a lovely art piece of this adorable Yorkie. The contour of the paining is already applied to the canvas and is divided into marked segments. The color key helps you match the segments to their corresponding paint color - all you have to do is paint! Painting by numbers develops fine motor skills, attentiveness, and memory. 

Paint by number kit instructions:

Anyone can feel like an artist and decorate their home with a masterpiece of their own creation. All patterns are broken down and drawn by professional artists, making it easy and entertaining to color the entire painting. Choose the subject matter of your choice and enjoy bringing the stunning image to life!

1. The numbers on the pattern correspond to the color of the paint. Simply paint over the fragment corresponding to the paint number. Do not dilute the paint with water!
2. When you finish working with one color, wash your brush thoroughly and dry it with a paper towel. When your brush is fully dry, you can begin working with a different color. Do not mix colors.
3. The paints dry quickly! Do not leave paint containers open if you are not using them. If you take a break, make sure that all lids are firmly closed.
4. The paint sets – it cannot be washed off after drying. If some of it ended up on your clothes or other objects, wash it out immediately.
5. To achieve the best result, we recommend working on your painting from the background to the foreground. First color the objects or fragments from the background of the scene, then middle ground, then foreground. For example, if you are working on a landscape the following is the recommended order: 1. Sky, 2. Clouds, 3. Meadow, 4. Trees, 5. Leaves and Grass, 6. Flowers.
6.  After drying, acrylic paints acquire a light glossy texture. If you wish, you can cover the painting with varnish after approximately a week (allow all paints to dry fully). A glossy varnish will enhance the brightness of colors and give it a slightly shiny appearance. A matte varnish will remove glare. Varnish can be purchased in specialty stores.
7. The set contains small parts – it is not suitable for children under 5.
