The author of the hand-painted design is Galina Shulyak, whose works are exhibited at the Russian Hermitage museum. The intricate floral ornament with the gilding is created following the traditions of the Ancient Russian floral ornaments, which can be found on the walls of the Palace of Facets at the Moscow Kremlin. The delicate floral bouquets are accented by the golden edging which creates a sensation of lightness, emphasizing the refinement and dignity of the snow-whit fine porcelain.
