Preparing Your Cast Iron Cookware for First Use:

Before using your cast iron cookware, wash it with warm water and mild soap and dry it thoroughly. To season the surface, apply a thin layer of vegetable oil to all surfaces and heat it in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for an hour. Then, let it cool completely.  

This simple process needs to be done only once, and your cookware will serve you for a lifetime. A detailed instruction is included in the box to make it easy to follow.
