We are exceptionally proud to collaborate with the Satake family, the producers of authentic Japanese knives from the city of Seki (Honshu Island), Japan. Satake knives are a true piece of the ancient Samurai tradition, carefully preserved, through the centuries.

Japanese knives are deservedly considered the best in the world in sharpness, reliability, and long service life. Most of the secrets of making samurai swords have been transferred to their peaceful adaptations, kitchen knives. And, while for a European, a knife is simply a useful kitchen utensil, to a Japanese, every blade has a soul and demands to be respected and honored.
